Liverpool star striker Divock Origi has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield in recent times after emerging as a target for Fenerbahce.

And according to new reports coming from Turkey, the Turkish side have made a move for the £26M-rated star’s signature.

It was made known that Divock is keen on moving to Fenerbahce and that Liverpool have given him the nod to leave Merseyside this summer.

However, according to Fanatik sports newspaper, Jurgen Klopp’s side will only permit a permanent deal, and won’t embrace the ‘loan’ idea.

The Turkish side are reportedly keen on a loan deal with a buyout clause option to sign the player next summer.

But the big issue here is that Origi has just 12 months left on his current contract at Anfield. It means Liverpool would have to extend his contract by an additional season if they are to work with Fenerbahce’s proposal.

And because of this, it was reported that Liverpool would consider selling the 23-year-old very cheaply if the Yellow Canaries will agree to sign him permanently this summer.

Nevertheless, it was also added that if Fenerbahce were unable struck a deal with Liverpool before the close of the ongoing summer transfer window, they could decide to patiently wait until Origi is available for free next year.
