Man Utd will find it hard to defeat Chelsea in their 9th EPL match of the season, having managed to escape defeat from Newcastle.
The Red Devils have every reason to be worried ahead of their next trip to Stamford Bridge, this is because they will be without two key players.
According to the reports from Old Trafford, Nemanja Matic and Luke Shaw will not be available for the trip to Chelsea.
Nemanja Matic, 30, pulled out of the Serbian national squad and there are doubts if he will be available for the match against Chelsea.
According to the previous plan, Matic was due to play for his home country against Montenegro and Romania but he will now remain at Old Trafford to continue his rehabilitation.
However, Matic could still get a chance to play against Chelsea if he gets his form back before the game or perhaps if coach Jose Mourinho finds it necessary that he comes on board.
Meanwhile, England international Luke Shaw has also pulled out of the English national squad for the matches against Spain and Croatia.
His case was described as a ‘small setback’ and he is likely to be unavailable for the match against Chelsea.
Luke Shaw, 23, recently found his way back to the Red Devils first eleven after a long-term injury but have hit some great form at the club since his return.
