Star player given Man United advice
Ajax legend John van Leon has encouraged Manchester United target Matthijs de Ligt to snub a move to Italian Serie A outfit Juventus to the Old Trafford in this winter transfer window.
Matthijs de Ligt is highly soughed for in Europe and has been mostly linked with a move to the Italian side and the English Premier League club.
The Red Devils are keen on him with efforts already in place to land Matthijs de Ligt in this winter window but there are fears that he could make the decision to move elsewhere as he would have the final say on his choice of club after an agreement has been reached with his club.
Matthijs de Ligt has therefore been advised by Ajax legend not to make the mistake of choosing Juventus over Man United because he might not suit into the style at the Old Lady, especially as a young player.
According to him, the English league will make him better and stronger than the Italian League.
However, United will also not hesitate in tabling an offer as they are still interested in the signature of Matthijs de Ligt who could be available but for nothing less than his asking price.
