Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are currently sitting at the second spot of the premier league table behind rivals Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s side are leading both Man United and Tottenham Hotspur with five points ahead of their next premier league games this weekend.
United boss Jose Mourinho is expected to bring in at least one player when the winter transfer window opens to add more quality to his squad. And if new reports are anything to go by, then it appears someone new will actually arrive Old Trafford come January.
According to reports, the Old Trafford club are linked with Spanish international and Barcelona’s Jose Arnaiz.
Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo made it known that the player’s agent has received calls from the Manchester club for his services. It was also added that other top sides including Arsenal and Bayern Munich are taking actions too.
Arnaiz was impressive during his first-team debut against Real Murcia in the Copa Del Rey. He scored a goal during the encounter to help his side win the game.
This season so far in the Segunda Division, the talented player has played 9 matches for the Barcelona B side and has scored 4 goals, with 3 assists.
Jose’s current deal with Barcelona will expire in 2021, and Mundo Deportivo made it known that he has a release clause of €20 million in his contract – something which won’t be a problem for a club like Manchester United.
