According to reports, Chelsea set to offer trying to get superstar player Eden Hazard to pen a new £300,000-weekly contract to convince him to stay at the club.
Hazard going nowhere
The Daily Mail is claiming that the Blues are keen on getting the 27-year-old Belgian to commit his playing future to Chelsea by signing a new deal.
Eden Hazard is presently under contract at the West London club until 2020 but the Blues are thought to have prioritized extending his current contract.
The same article says that Chelsea have made tying the forward down to a new deal a major plan as they prepare to strengthen their team in the summer.
The report also says that the Blues are set to offer the exciting forward a fresh contract worth £300,000-weekly plus bonuses.
Fantastic forward
The Belgium international playmaker has been in splendid form for the Blues this term after having endured an ankle injury at the start of the season.
Hazard has netted 11 goals and provided three assists in the English Premier League for Chelsea so far this season but the skilful forward was unable to prevent his side from slipping to a 2-1 defeat to United on Sunday.
The reigning Premier League champions are currently in the fifth position on the League log.
