Manchester United are confident of completing a transfer move for Inter Milan winger, Ivan Perisic, according to reports.
The Croatian winger has been closely monitored by United with reports that Jose Mourinho held talks with the player’s representatives during his visit to Zagreb during an international break in March.
It is understood that Perisic is also keen on a move to Old Trafford after holding successful talks with the Red Devils boss but a transfer deal has stalled due to Inter Milan’s reluctance to let one of their star players leave while they plan on returning to their past glories.
Inter Milan are said to be pricing United out of a deal for the winger, asking them to pay  £55million for the winger while the English giants are only willing to pay half that price.
However, reports in the Independent claim that Manchester United are confident on securing a deal for Perisic in the coming days and will be ready to pay around  £45million for the player.
Although, Inter new boss Luciano Spalleti has come out to dismiss such suggestions, insisting the player is not for sale while revealing that he will hold crunch talks with him once he returns for pre-season this week.
