Jurgen Klopp remains active in the transfer market and has been able to bring in some new legs into his squad at Liverpool ahead of a busy campaign next season. However, while bringing in quality players to Anfield, the German boss will be doing all he can to keep the superb stars he already has at the club.
One of his major stars who have been heavily linked with a move away from the club is Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho. The player has emerged as a target for both Barcelona and PSG this summer, and it appears the Ligue I heavyweights are the ones making the strongest move for the samba star this summer.
The talented player signed a new long-term deal which is without any contractual release clause at the beginning of this year and he seem to be having a nice time at Anfield.
According to Goal, the player loves it with the reds and has no desire to leave the club this summer.
It was revealed that Jurgen Klopp’s side have fielded no enquiries so far this summer from PSG for their prize asset after rejecting an approach from the French club last summer.
After losing the Ligue I title to Monaco last season, PSG want to bring in a handful of top players as they get set for an interesting campaign next season. Apart from Coutinho, they have also been linked with other big players including Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe and Arsenal embattled star player Alexis Sanchez.
