Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have confirmed their interest in Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard this summer.

Their interest was revealed by club president Florentino Perez who said that Real Madrid want to sign the Belgian international star this summer.

Florentino Perez talked about Eden Hazard while he was a guest on Spanish radio station Onda Cero.

According to the Real Madrid supremo, Real Madrid tried and failed to sign Hazard last summer as he revealed that the Chelsea talisman is one of the best players in the world.

Perez also said that it’s a wrong time to discuss a potential transfer with Chelsea who have a Europa League final clash with London rivals Arsenal later this week.

Chelsea and Arsenal will face off in an all-English affair in Baku, Azerbaijan on Wednesday night.

Florentino Perez also revealed that the club has not received offers for any of the Real Madrid players except the one from China for club skipper Sergio Ramos.

The Real Madrid captain wants to leave the club despite the fact that he still has two years left on his current deal with the Los Merengues.

The 33-year-old centre back has been at Real Madrid since he joined from fellow Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla in 2005.
