Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is certain that his talisman Eden Hazard is worth more than £100m as his future at the club continues to generate a lot of speculation amongst fans, pundits etc.
Sarri spoke about Hazard in his post-match reaction to his phenomenal performance against London rivals West Ham United in their Premier League clash on Monday night.
According to him, Belgian international star Hazard is definitely worth more than the £100m price tag on him going by today’s market.
He was reacting to recent reports which claimed that the former Lille player might seal a lucrative £100m deal to Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid with one year left on his contract.
The 28-year-old is not expected to sign a new contract despite the fact that he has little time left on the current one thus paving the way for him to join Real Madrid this summer.
Eden Hazard reminded the Chelsea faithfuls what they might be missing if he leaves the club this summer after he scored two goals either side of the halftime interval to lead Chelsea to a 2-0 win over West Ham United at home.
The win was enough to catapult Chelsea to third place on the league table thus boosting their hopes of finishing in the top-four at the end of this season.
