Liverpool legend still has some doubts about Ozil after Leicester City display

Arsenal captain Mesut Ozil was very brilliant for his side on Monday night where he also got a goal to his name.

Ozil helped bring Arsenal into the game following a goal by their visitors before Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang came in to score a brace in the game that ended 3-1.

A lot have been said about the Arsenal captain’s performance with his teammates ailing him as the killer in the team who destroys the opponents.

However, the same cannot be said of Liverpool legend Graeme Souness who is still not convinced that the German international is a world class player as he is being rated.

Admitting that Ozil has got lots of qualities to place him high up there, Souness said the fact that he is always found wanting in big games makes him below world class.

According to him, a world class player should not be rated through a game against clubs like Leicester City but against top clubs in the League and Europe.

He stresses that the former Real Madrid star man should prove himself in bigger games before he can earn his deserved respect as a world class player.

Ozil is currently having it good at Arsenal and manager Unai Emery has been praised for returning the former Real Madrid player back to his best.
