Antonio Valencia

There are fears that Manchester United might lose their right full-back Antonio Valencia with reports that West Ham United are desperate on his case ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

The Hammers are currently struggling to hold on to their opponents as a result of the weak defensive options they have got which makes them desperate for Antonio Valencia.

Antonio Valencia is one of the best and experienced players at the Old Trafford but there is no doubt that he will not have many more years to play at the club owing to his age.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini is believed to be a big fan of the Ecuador international and he will do all in his powers to lure him to the London club.

Although he is a regular player in the Jose Mourinho team West Ham are optimistic that the Red Devils will let him go, knowing his age and how soon his value will begin to depreciate.

However, United are already planning for more additions at the defence with the manager seeking to storm the winter transfer market when it reopens in the coming weeks.

Mourinho is desperate to change the situation at his club around especially when the second half of the season begins in the new year.
