Juventus desperate to land this Arsenal defender, not Koscielny

Italian Serie A champion Juventus are reported to be keen on the signature of English Premier League outfit Arsenal central defender Shkodran Mustafi before this January transfer window comes to an end.

The Old Lady have got some crisis in their defence with Medhi Benatia desperate to quit the club while Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli are already ageing.

This, therefore, calls for an urgent solution as it will soon begin to reflect on the pitch and in the results of their game.

The Turin based team have identified the North London central defender as the player who can take up the responsibility to mount the defence and showcase a solid performance.

It is reported that Juventus boss Max Allegri is a big fan of the Germany international and is ready to hand him the opportunity to play in the Italian Serie A outfit.

The North London side paid the sum of £40 million for the service of the German defender from Valencia in 2016 which means the Old Lady will have to pay within that region to land him as well.

So far this season, Shkodran Mustafi has had 22 games under his belt and has been able to deliver 2 goals in all competition.
