Chelsea superstar reportedly agree offer from…

According to reports, Chelsea centre-half David Luiz is set to accept a transfer offer from Real Madrid despite giving him a similar position to the one he currently plays at the West London club.

The Brazil international defender no longer commands regular shirt at Antonio Conte’s team after a decline in his performances saw the Chelsea manager replace him with talented young Dane Andreas Christensen.

As reported by Diario Gol, David Luiz has agreed to terms to move on loan to Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid with a view of making it permanent, and wouldn’t mind being the third choice at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The report claims that he is been told Spaniard Sergio Ramos and France international defender Raphael Varane remain first choice centre-halfs, but it seems the former PSG defender is that keen to depart the West London club that he’ll agree not playing as much at his at Real either.

UOL reports david Luiz feels his playing career at Stamford Bridge is over under Antonio Conte, while another top publication Daily Express have also linked Luiz, 30, with a possible transfer to Premier League rivals Manchester United amid his Chelsea uncertainty.

We’ll wait to see how Blues fans will react to losing such a famous and influential figure in the dressing room, with the Brazilian seeming to be a fan and staff favourite at Stamford Bridge.
