Jose Mourinho meets Ed Woodward about Manchester United 4th transfer claims

According to new reports, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho had the opportunity to meet the club’s Chief (Mr Ed Woodward) for the first time after stating that he was unsure about the side’s transfer activity.

The new premier league season is here already, but there are still a lot of things Manchester United must do if they are to seriously challenge Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City for the premier league title.

Speaking recently to newsmen, Mourinho insists he has no idea if the management would sign more players before the closure of the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Portuguese boss has only welcomed the trio of Fred (from Shakhtar Donetsk), Diogo Dalot (from FC Porto) and Lee Grant (from Stoke City) this summer.

However, the former Chelsea boss has seen how a rival club like Liverpool spend money to get the likes of Fabinho (from Monaco), Naby Keita (from RB Leipzig), Xherdan Shaqiri (from Stokes City) and Alisson (from AS Roma) this summer.

And so, Mourinho is reportedly eager to have a discussion with Woodward about the signings of more players.

Ed travelled to America to join the side at their pre-season tour, but he won’t stay for the remainder of the tour – which means Mourinho must take his chance while he could.
