‘Welcome’ – Arsenal In Advanced Talks To Sign Yann Sommer..

With Petr Cech being linked back to Chelsea and David Ospina on his way out of Emirate stadium, Arsenal have deemed it fit to sign a second player after they signed Bernd Leno from Bayern Leverkusen.

Arsenal signed Leno in a £19 million contract with the hope that he will take over as the Gunners first goal keeper once the duo of Cech and Ospina leaves.

However, to serve as a replacement, the Gunners are reportedly in search for another shot-stopper.

And this time around also they are headed for the German Bundesliga where they are reportedly in talks with Borussia Monchengladbach for it goalkeeper.

The Monchengladbach goalkeeper has been revealed to be Switzerland international, Yann Sommer.

29 year old Sommer is one of the most consistent goalkeepers in the German Bundesliga.

And the Gunners has considered him good to be signed as a second keeper.

Although, no amount has been fixed as transfer fee yet but the German club is not under compulsion to sell Sommer as he still has three years to go with the Club.

However, this means Monchengladbach will not let him go cheaply.

Aside from Arsenal, Spanish giant, Barcelona are also interested in the 29-year-old goalkeeper.
