Hero: This Is Why Liverpool Will Beat Man United On Saturday

Former Liverpool player John Barnes believes his former side will put an end to Manchester United’s unbeaten run when the two sides will clash at Anfield on Saturday.

The red devils have been very much impressive this term and are yet to lose a single game in all competitions so far. They won six of their seven premier league games with a fine start to their Champions League campaign for the season getting two impressive wins so far.

Man United’s superb performances have given them the chance to emerge as early frontrunners in the race for the premier league trophy alongside rivals City, and the Old Trafford club will be looking to continue their fine form at Anfield this weekend.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are already seven points behind Jose Mourinho’s side and have only been able to win just one game from their last four premier league matches.

But despite all these, club legend John Barnes is supporting Liverpool to emerge victorious this Saturday and grab all three points from the meeting.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Barnes believes Jurgen Klopp’s men will end Manchester United’s unbeaten run because Liverpool have demonstrated against all of the top five teams [in England] apart from Manchester City.

“They [Liverpool] have had the upper hand against all of the top five [clubs] because of the nature of the way those games [were] played,” he explained.
