Thorgan Hazard

The European duo of Italian Serie A giants AS Roma and Spanish capital club Atletico Madrid have joined the race to sign Borussia Moenchengladbach forward Thorgan Hazard in the upcoming January transfer window.

Thorgan Hazard, 25, has been in impressive form for Borussia Moenchengladbach in this season’s German Bundesliga thereby attracting the interests of several European heavyweights including Premier League table toppers Liverpool.

The interest of both AS Roma and Atletico Madrid in the Belgian international star was revealed by popular Italian media publication Calciomercato.

Thorgan Hazard has been one of the best players in the German Bundesliga this season following a return of 12 goals and seven assists in the league.

The 25-year-old was initially on the books of Chelsea before he sealed a permanent transfer to present club Borussia Moenchengladbach in the summer of 2015.

Thorgan Hazard signed for Chelsea in 2012 and thereafter had loan spells at Zulte Waregem FC of Belgium and the aforementioned Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Thorgan is the younger brother of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard and widespread reports claim that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is trying to lure him back to the Premier League.

The Belgian could be available for as little as £31m as per those transfer rumours.
