Insider exposes Man United’s summer transfer troubles

The troubles suffered by Man United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has been exposed by an Insider who claims to have in-depth information on the transfer activities of the club.

As reported by The Independent, United’s chief has not been able to secure most of his targets and the struggles have existed since the exit of legendary manager Alex Ferguson.

This is one of the reasons why the Red Devils management decided to have a new sporting director but that is yet to happen with Ed Woodward continuing the job.

It would be recalled that the Red Devils chief had clashes with former manager Jose Mourinho as a result of his inability to complete transfer targets.

This is yet another transfer window with hopes that the Red Devils will secure enough additions as hinted and boosted by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but if the struggle by the executive vice-chairman continues, they could be set to miss out on most of their targets.

It has not been made easy for Man United, the fact that they will not be playing in the Champions League next season, most players will only seek European football in their quest to move away from their current clubs.

The transfer window is still very much opened and it is hoped that Man United will get it right this time around
