According to reports, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to take a £200 million gamble on keeping his out-of-contract stars at the club and insists he has the full support of the Arsenal board.

Wenger has begun this League season with some of his best legs heading into the final 12 months of their current deal.

Superstars like Chilean Alexis Sanchez, German Mesut Ozil and Englishman Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will all leave for free next summer if new contracts are not signed, seeing the Gunners write off about £200 million worth of business transactions.

Earlier in the week, Arsene Wenger confirmed that none of his Superstars would leave during this summer transfer window but also failed to guarantee they would be at the Emirate Stadium after the window closes.

This development could be a costly error for the Gunners this season. A lot of big spenders, including Paris Saint Germain, Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich wanted former Barcelona forward Sanchez, who is currently unsettled at the Emirate Stadium. Bids of about £80 million are believed to have been submitted to the North London club, but Arsene Wenger did not want to cash in on him to a rival club for fear of affecting his team negatively.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is another transfer target for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, with reports claiming the Blues are confident of signing the 23-year-old midfielder for around £35 million.

The West London club is desperate for quality signings after their opening day 3-2 loss to Burnley with a rather depleted squad.
