Serbia star player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has dropped some hints that he could ignore Manchester United and join Juventus this summer transfer window.
The talented midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from Lazio in recent times after emerging as a target for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.
It is understood manager Jose Mourinho has been keeping tabs on the Serb in recent times and he intends bringing him down to Old Trafford to help add more quality to his midfield department.
The Portuguese boss is aiming at winning the premier league trophy for Manchester United next season and is keen on taking advantage of the summer transfer window to reinforce his squad.
After completing a deal for Brazil international Fred, the former Chelsea manager is set to sign a second midfielder to replace Marouane Fellaini who is ready to dump the club this summer.
Sergej appears to be the man he wants, but the player is reportedly needed at Juventus too.
His father admitted he has encouraged his son to move to Turin because he believed his son will fare better at Juventus.
The player was also recently asked about a switch to Juve ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, and he failed to rubbish the idea. He only smiled and said things will be sorted after the World Cup.
And it appears Milinkovic-Savic will definitely play at Turin next season – which is bad news for Manchester United and their fans.
