Arsenal defender gives condition to remain at the Emirates Stadium

While there are expected to be some shake-ups in the Arsenal squad, former Juventus star Stephan Lichtsteiner is one player whom the fans expect to leave the club after a year’s spell.

Stephan Lichtsteiner joined the North London outfit in the last summer transfer window where he signed a year’s contract that is supposed to expire at the end of the season.

While the North London club are yet to make any statement on the future of the experienced right full-back, he had earlier given the hint that he is not sure of his future, stressing that he is open for anything to happen.

Now, he has come out to say that he is ready to play but that will be on the condition that he would be handed playing time at the club.

According to Stephan Lichtsteiner, he will not remain at the North London outfit if he will not be a regular player. hence, he could consider walking away.

However, it is unsure if the Spanish manager Unai Emery will be willing to assure him a regular playing time ahead of the coming season because of his age and the need to win trophies in the coming season.
