4-2-3-1 Formation: How Talented £89million Star Could Line up for Manchester United

Atletico Madrid star player Antoine Griezmann has been heavily linked with Manchester United for some time now, and the latest reports that concern him are simply intriguing.

It was made known that Man United boss Jose Mourinho desire bringing the Frenchman to his team to replace Henrikh Mkhitaryan at the club.

Mkhitaryan has not been able to replicate what we saw him did when he was still at Dortmund, and some of Man United’s fans won’t be surprised to see him leave Old Trafford next summer.

Now, if Antoine should come over to Jose Mourinho’s side next year, we can expect the talented Frenchman to play in the No. 10 role behind Romelu Lukaku next season.

Griezmann put an end to his goal drought when he scored a superb goal against Roma in the Champions League on Wednesday night, and he has a release clause of £89million in his contract.

Although Barcelona are also said to be interested in the 26-year-old, his side are more likely to sell him to Manchester United instead of giving him to a league rival.

Should Griezmann arrive Manchester United, here is how he could line up in Jose Mourinho’s starting XI.

GK – De Gea
DL – Rojo
DC – Baily
DC – Jones
DR – Valencia
MC – Matic
MC – Pogba
AL – Martial
AC – Griezmann
AR – Rashford
FC – Lukaku
