Borussia Dortmund forward Ousmane Dembele would likely leave this summer and has emerged as a target for a handful of top clubs across Europe.
According to new reports, he has travelled to Manchester to meet with key figures at, a one-on-one with the club’s manager Pep Guardiola.
Dembele has been heavily linked with a move away from Germany this summer despite his club blocking a move to sell him after one season.
The 20-year-old made the switch to the Bundesliga last summer from Rennes and he is now valued at around £79million after a fantastic debut campaign in the German top flight, with Manchester United among his admirers.
It appears Man City have now joined in the race for the talented youngster, and Le10Sport are claiming that he is in Manchester at the moment for unofficial talks with Pep’s side that could anger his current employers.
However, it is yet to be confirmed if the France international is meeting Man City with Dortmund’s permission. But Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has insisted they would be ready to take action should any negotiations take place.
In the just concluded season, the French star played 47 games for Dortmund and he scored 10 goals with 18 assists to help them qualify for the Champions League next season.
