Good news for Conte as Chelsea and Liverpool target set sight on Premier League move

Leon Goretzka of German Bundesliga side Schelke wants to seal a move to the English Premier League with both English heavyweights Liverpool and Chelsea keen on signing him.

Top sports publication Sport report that the aforementioned suitors are the two clubs most likely to secure the services of the midfielder in the summer.

Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona and German Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich have both been strongly linked with the Germany international midfielder who has impressed greatly for Bundesliga side  Schalke this campaign.

Goretzka is entering the final months of his current Schalke contract, so his Bundesliga club may look to cash in on him in the January transfer window to avoid losing him for free next summer.

The same report claims that the German midfielder has set his sights and heart on a move to the English Premier League instead of linking up with the likes of Bayern Munich or catalan club FC Barcelona.

The news update came days after the director of the German national team Oliver Bierhoff heaped praises on Manchester City winger Leroy Sane for joining a Premier League club and encouraged other Germany national team players to do the same.

Merseyside giant Liverpool face the possibility of losing Brazilian Philippe Coutinho in the winter transfer window or summer window so German Goretzka could be brought in as a replacement for Barcelona target.
