Finally, Liverpool Made Move To Sign €60M Star Player – Contract Offered Already

Liverpool fans are currently one of the happiest set of people in the world following their recent win over Manchester City in the premier league. It is now glaring the Anfield club can win games without Phillipe Coutinho.

However, manager Jurgen Klopp must still sign a replacement for the samba star player before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.

Sporting CP star player Gelson Martins has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in recent times, and there were speculations Liverpool have offered him a lucrative offer to come over to Merseyside.

And more recently, there are reports Klopp’s side have mad an approach to get the player’s signature.

Gelson has a release clause of €60million in his contract at Sporting, and it was made known that it can be increased to €100million if the Portuguese club pay €1.5million to Martins.

It was also added that the player’s superb performances at Sporting have caught the attention of a handful of top clubs across Europe including Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, but the Portuguese club won’t sell him this month to any club.

Sporting are still trying to win the Portuguese league, and they need Martins around to help them do that.

This season so far in 16 league starts, Gelson has scored 5 goals and has provided 3 assists to his teammates.
