Liverpool could only earn a point after a disappointing 0-0 draw with Manchester United last Saturday at Anfield, but they gallantly moved back to winning ways by beating Maribor 7-0 in the Champions League this week.
Up next is another premier league meeting with another in-form side – Tottenham Hotspur, and Jurgen Klopp will be leading his men to the Wembley Stadium on Sunday with full confidence.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have also been impressive recently and were able to give defending champions Real Madrid some tough time when both clashed in the Champions League at the Bernabeu on Tuesday.
And as far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, Jurgen is expected to make a few changes in his starting XI that thrashed Maribor a few days back in Slovenia.
Joe Gomez was brilliant against Man United last Saturday, and we expect him to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold in the right back position.
Although goalkeeper Loris Karius faced no problem against the Slovenian side during the Champions League game, he is likely to be replaced by Simon Mignolet.
Club captain Henderson was not part of the squad that played Maribor – Klopp chose to make use of Milner in his place. The talented midfielder was very much impressive at Slovenia, and we expect him to be part of the starting XI at Wembley on Sunday.
The German boss is likely to earn all three points at the Wembley Stadium if he will field this starting XI:
GK – Mignolet
DL – Moreno
DC – Lovren
DC – Matip
DR – Gomez
DM – Can
MC – Milner
MC – Wijnaldum
WL – Countiho
WR – Salah
FC – Firmino
