“I don’t respond to rumours” – box-to-box midfielder responds to Liverpool, Man United interests

Tottenham Hotspur star Victor Wanyama has reiterated he is committed to Spurs despite reported interest from Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool.

Liverpool are believed to be on the lookout for a holding midfielder this summer to further improve Klopp’s squad.

Liverpool to replace Can with Victor

Germany international midfielder Emre Can could leave the Reds in the summer window on a free move when his deal runs out amid interest from Juventus.

While Naby Keita is will join Liverpool this summer, the Guinean is a box-to-box midfielder rather than a holding midfielder.

Man United boss Jose Mourinho will also need reinforcement in midfield following Carrick’s retirement.

Belgium international midfielder Marouane Fellaini will become a free agent this summer unless the United can convince the former Everton man to commit to the team.

Wanyama will be a good buy

Victor Wanyama would be a good signing for both English Premier League sides given his brilliant performances for Spurs since his switch from Southampton back in 2016.

Wanyama told Goal that he does not respond to speculations and all those news are rumours to him.

The midfielder reiterated that he still has a deal with Tottenham and that is what he wants to see through.

The Reds finished in the fourth position in the English Premier League log to finish in the UEFA Champions League place for the second straight season.
