Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are expected to rebuild their playing squad this summer and the major transfer surgery expected at the club could include the sale of midfielder Casemiro.
According to the report from Spanish media portal Don Balon, Real Madrid have already drawn up a possible two-man shortlist in their bid to replace Brazilian international Casemiro.
The former FC Porto player is attracting serious interest from French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) who are keen to bolster their midfield options ahead of next season.
PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot will leave the club upon the expiration of his contract this summer and the French giants are expected to sign a replacement for him.
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is said to have targeted Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele as the possible replacement for the aforementioned Casemiro.
Kante is a key player for Chelsea and his status is reflected in the face that he’s the highest paid player at the club having recently signed a new contract earlier this season.
The French international player earns around £290,000 on a weekly basis at Chelsea who will be reluctant to lose their prized asset.
Kante is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a hamstring injury in the Premier League game with Watford at the weekend.
