Manchester United forward Martial has scored just one goal this season for the club as it appears he hasn’t found his feet in the squad.
Following a 3-1 victory over Sunderland at the Old Trafford on Monday, it is obvious that the United team as a squad are finding back their influence in the EPL, and it was remoured that coach Jose Mourinho desires bringing out those that aren’t moving with the flow.
Martial was brought to Old Trafford for £55m, but it seems he hasn’t been utilized much by the Portuguese coach. He is of course frustrated and it appears he would be leaving soon. And according to Daily Mail, La Liga side Sevilla are interested in him and wants him on loan in January.
Last season under former coach Louis van Gaal, Martial was very vital in the team, but has quickly lost his place in the squad to players like Jesse Lingard, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Juan Mata. He has been duly criticized for his unpleasant performances under Jose Mourinho this season, and has only made just seven league starts.
However, Sevilla wants him in Spain as they thinks he could add more power to their attack. Therefore, Sevilla Sporting director has been reportedly monitoring his situation at Old Trafford and has been in contact with his agent since the past month.
But according to France national team manager Didier Deschamps, Mourinho wants the Frenchman to stay put at the club and fight for a big spot.
