German champions Bayern Munich will reportedly revive their interest in young Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
This is according to the publication from The Sun which claimed that the Bavarian giants have been encouraged with the progress of the player as he works his way back to fitness from injury.
Callum Hudson-Odoi was the top transfer target for Bayern Munich during the winter transfer window but Chelsea remained resolute in their bid not to let one of their best young players leave the club.
The player also handed in a transfer request to force through a transfer to Bayern Munich only for it to be rejected on arrival.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has a year left on his Chelsea contract and the West Londoners are desperate to hand him fresh terms amidst the strong interest from the likes of Bayern Munich.
Other European sides like Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been linked with him.
For now, Callum Hudson-Odoi is recovering from the Achilles injury he sustained last month at a fast rate and he could return to action as early as September.
The recently capped England international star was expected to miss action for at least six months but he could be back within five months.
