Ed Woodward beaten to ‘attack-minded’ defender

PSG beat Manchester United to sign Alex Sandro

The latest report disclosed that Manchester United target, Brazil international, Alex Sandro, has reached an agreement with Paris Saint Germain.

The Red Devils had shown interest in the player but it seems Juventus has finally reached an agreement with PSG instead.

Although, Alex Sandro didn’t make it to the Brazil squad for the 2018 World Cup, the defender has always been sorted after.

As English football club, Chelsea had planned to sign him last season but the deal didn’t materialize.

This was owing to the fact that Juventus had planned on selling him at a transfer price worth £70 million and the Blues were not ready to part away with such a huge amount.

Well,  this season seems to come with a new system as Juventus has beaten down the price to £45 million.

The transfer price has been agreed upon between PSG and Juventus.

With Alex Sandro moving to PSG, the club is on a move to make its team formidable.

Manchester United had planned to sign Alex Sandro to replace Luke Shaw but it looks as if they will have to look elsewhere for a defender.

Jose Mourinho is still hopeful of signing new players before the transfer window close.
