Deal Almost Agreed – German side set to replace Arsenal-bound star with Puskas winner

According to reports, Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund want to sign French star Olivier Giroud from North London outfit Arsenal as they try to identify proper replacements for departing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the German Bundesliga club are somewhat sure of losing Aubameyang this winter transfer window, with the Gunners looking very likely to seal his signature. This has caused them to make plans for the African’s exit, and it seems the FIFA Award winner is one player that is being considered.

The report suggests that Borussia Dortmund have opened transfer negotiations with the Emirates club over a transfer for the France international striker, who will only keep falling further down the pecking order at the club if the Gabon international does make the move to North London.

The Arsenal striker is in need of regular first-team football. The striker is hoping that he can enjoy a brilliant end to the campaign so that he can make it to the FIFA World Cup with his National team – France, this coming summer, but needs to play regularly to stand a chance.

It’s claimed by the Daily Mail that the Gunners and the German side will stage more discussions on Friday as regards a move for the African, which could widely open up yet more talks about Olivier Giroud’s future.
