Bordeaux star player Malcolm has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after emerging as a target for a handful of top clubs across Europe including Arsenal.

However, according to reports, the French club have made it known that they won’t sell the talented Brazilian this month.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been in the market for a replacement for Alexis Sanchez who is on the verge of completing a switch to Manchester United, and the Frenchman was expecting to lure Malcolm to North London.

But it was made known that Bordeaux won’t be selling the player until summer.

The samba star has evolved into one of the most important members of the club, and his superb performances have caught the attention of some top European clubs.

Apart from Arsenal, he was also linked with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, and there were claims the red devils were the first English club to contact Bordeaux for the youngster’s signature this month.

However, the Old Trafford club have focused their efforts on sealing a deal for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, giving Wenger the chance to get the player’s signature.

But it appears he won’t be coming to London this month, following reports he won’t be sold this January.

It was added that the Ligue 1 club are aware they could get more money for him after the World Cup and are ready to wait until then.
