Club Agree Man United Bid For Chelsea Top Target!

Everton’s Romelu Lukaku has refused to sign a new contract at Goodison Park after making known his desire to play in the Champions League next season. He has emerged as a target for both Chelsea and Man United this summer, and while we all thought he is destined to return and play at Stamford Bridge next season, things are now taking different directions.

In a new development, there are new reports that his club have accepted a bid of £75 million from Manchester United after the Old Trafford club moved in to hijack the forward from Chelsea’s grip.

Chelsea have long been negotiating for the Belgium international and the Toffees are insisting on £100m. However, BBC are reporting now that the red devils have brokered a £75m deal under that price tag.

It was added that veteran striker Wayne Rooney is expected to move to Everton, although it was emphasised that Rooney’s deal is not linked with Lukaku’s move.

Swede legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left Old Trafford after his one-year deal expired at the end of the campaign and Jose Mourinho is looking towards bringing in a new formidable attacker to replace the former Barcelona player.

The Portuguese is understood to have made Lukaku and Real Madrid’s Morata his top priorities, and when it seems as if nothing is coming out of the talks with the Champions League winners, have decided to press ahead to wrap a deal for the Belgian.

Lots of works have been going on behind the scenes, and right now, a fee had been agreed alongside terms with Lukaku.
