According to British media reports, Premier League giants Chelsea are keen on a summer transfer move to land starlet Joe Gelhardt from Wigan this summer transfer window.

The Sun, as cited by the Daily Star, is claiming that Chelsea are looking to make a summer move for the 16-year-old starlet.

As per the same article, the Blues are interested in adding some more young players to their team and have identified the Wigan forward as one of their top transfer targets this summer.

However, the same report says that the FA Cup holders could be set to face a battle to try and lure him to West London this summer transfer window, because Wigan boss Paul Cook is keen to keep of him and give him an opportunity in the first team.

Fulham also keen

It is also suggested in the same report that West London side Fulham are keen on a transfer move for Gelhardt this summer transfer window.

The Blues are thought to be in the market for a number of new recruits this summer window after their disappointing season under manager Antonio Conte this season.
