Chelsea Target Alexis Sanchez Set To Snub Stamford Bridge For Manchester City

Arsenal star has been linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer and has emerged as a target for both Chelsea and Manchester City.

However, according to reports, the player is ready to snub Chelsea and is ‘determined’ to join Manchester City this summer after leaving Arsenal.

During a press conference with his national side at the Confederations Cup in Russia last week, Sanchez was asked about his future, and he stated that he now has a clear idea of what he wanted to do.

And in a new development, ESPN are insisting that the 28-year-old’s ideal decision would be to depart Arsenal and link up with his former manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has refused to embrace offers for the Chilean Star and has even indicated that he would be willing to let the former Barcelona player leave on a free transfer next summer after his current deal expires at the club.

It is understood that the Etihad Stadium club are expected to submit an opening bid of £50 million to Arsenal to see how things go, but are said to be confident about their chances of securing the player’s services this summer.

Chelsea are still in need of a good striker after manager Antonio Conte asked Diego Costa to leave this summer and are about losing Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.
