Chelsea suffer setback in pursuit of Morata replacement

Chelsea have suffered a setback in their pursuit of West Ham star Marko Arnautovic after his agent stated that he will move to the Serie A in the coming transfer window.

Marko Arnautovic has made his intention to leave the club known and Chelsea are set to have him join the Stamford Bridge.

The Hammers are currently struggling in the Premier League this season as they sit 13th in the Premier League table despite spending over a £100 million in the summer to have a robust squad.

However, Marko Arnautovic has made it known that he will not remain at the club because he has struggled to impress as well, wishing he plays for a bigger clubs like Chelsea.

There is no doubt that the Austrian will jump at any offer from the West London side as he has got the experience to play at the Stamford Bridge.

Marko Arnautovic stated that it is the best time for him to move on to compete with best players in the league and that will only happen if he plays in a big club.

Meanwhile, the Blues will not waste any opportunity to have a new striker at the club knowing that strikers Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata are both not firing.
