Chelsea offer £30m, Dortmund offer £40m for 24-year-old powerhouse

Chelsea offer £30 million, Borussia Dortmund offer £40 million for Mattia Caldara.

The Italian league seems to be the source of most players currently been traded in the transfer window.

The latest report disclosed Italian club, Juventus are on the verge to lose their centre back defender to either Chelsea or Borussia Dortmund.

The defender has been identified as 24-year-old Mattia Caldara.

However, the surprising thing is that Mattia has never made an appearance for Juventus since his signing.

The defender had moved to the Serie A club in 2017 from Atalanta but was loan out back to his former club.

Juventus might let him go for the right amount since there is no use for him at the club.

Latest report reveals that Chelsea have tabled an offer which is said to be worth €30m.

On the other hand, Dortmund came up with a highe offer worth €35m plus €5m on bonuses.

It is not unusual seeing Chelsea in the race to sign Mattia Caldara, this is owing to the fact that Chelsea new coach, Sarri Maurizio is a big lover for anything Italian.

While Dortmund may drop the move to sign Mattia should Juventus increase their price.

Aside Mattia, the Blues are looking forward to signing Daniele Rugani to the club also.
