United to strike last minute deal for long-term Serie A striker

Manchester United are ready to make a last minute move to secure the signature of their long-term target and Italian Serie A outfit Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic before the summer transfer window comes to an end.

The January window is just few days to its closure and the Red Devils are yet to strike any deal despite the claims that the management are ready to back new interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with funds to strengthen the team for the second half of the season.

It would be recalled that the former United forward took over from Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho when the team could barely win a game with the believe that he would be handed funds to recruit more players to correct the wrongs.

However, it is not late for the Red Devils as they are reported to be planning to storm the San Siro for a late minute and shock raid of Ivan Perisic before the end of this winter window.

Ivan Perisic has been in good form for the Italian Side for the past seasons and he is unchanged in his form which is the reason why United will not rest until they have him at the Old Trafford.

  1. Perisic is closing on 30yo. ! So what’s the long term is goin to be ? 2, Maybe 3 years ? At this age any injury puts
him out of commission for months ! Right now there are 6 – 7 players 30++ years old and another 3 – 4 in the late 20″s. It seems , that MU is turning into recycling plant or used car dealership.

    Am I right ? Or am I right ?
