Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea will definitely move to Real Madrid this summer, according to Sky Sports transfer expert Guillem Balague.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer following reports that Real Madrid are keen on bringing the keeper to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
De Gea came close to leaving the Santiago Bernabeu during the 2015 transfer summer window, and has since then been linked with a move to Real.
Transfer guru Gulliem Balague has now said: He said: “I wanted to clarify a point I made earlier. I’m convinced Real Madrid are winning the race for David de Gea.
“It surprises me that Manchester United, who have aspirations of being the biggest club in the world, would let him go.
“But it seems to be reaching a point where everyone is in agreement that it is best if they go their separate ways.”
It is also understood that Jose Mourinho has began search for a new keeper at the Old Trafford, having resigned to the idea of losing De Gea to Real Madrid this summer, the likes of AC Milan goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel and Portuguese keeper, Ederson have all been tipped to replace the Spaniard this summer.
