Former AS Roma sporting director Monchi has dismissed claims that he has already had an agreement with the North London outfit Arsenal for a move to the Emirates Stadium after parting ways with the Italian Serie A outfit.
The former Sevilla chief has been linked with the job of a technical director and head of recruitment alongside former player Overmas following the exit of Sven Mislintat last month.
Suggestions are that Monchi left the job just to pick up the role at the Emirates Stadium but he has dismissed such insinuations stating that he is yet to make any decision as regarding his next move.
However, it is claimed that Monchi has already held talks with Arsenal and an agreement might have been reached already but there is no deal in place at the moment.
The former AS Roma chief said the focus on his next move is unnecessary as he would like to take a break to reflect on beautiful things.
Meanwhile, should Monchi eventually take charge at Arsenal, he would be handed with the responsibility of working with Spanish manager Unai Emery to secure quality additions to the club with the limited resources that might be made available by the board.
