Man United Confident Of Landing This Summer Target Despite Club’s Reluctance

Manchester United are confident about landing Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this summer, according to reports.

The Red Devils have been pushed back in the several attempts to lure the Croatian to the Old Trafford in the current transfer window, as the Italian giants remain adamant that the player will not leave the San Siro unless their astronomical valuation is met.

Perisic is understood to be keen on a transfer move but has remained disappointed by the way the deal has gone leaving the player’s future in a balance.

The winger has appeared glum in most of his appearances with Inter Milan in the pre-season games, despite showing his impressive abilities.

United boss Jose Mourinho has also come out to hint that the club will not be forced into buying their targets for over-inflated prices even though the Portuguese has also publicly declared that he needed two more signings after completing moves for Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku.

Following the arrival of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea, it is understood that Mourinho will concentrate on signing a winger and reports in ESPN suggest that Manchester United are getting increasingly confident that Perisic will join them before the end of the summer transfer window.
