Arsenal scouts working on bringing in Wonderkid to replace Sanchez and Ozil

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is eyeing a switch for Lyon star Houssem Aouar as a probable replacement for departing duo of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

The pair are both expected to leave Arsenal in the summer with both superstars yet to extend their respective deals that both expire at the end of the current season.

It would seem that rather than battling a fruitless war to get the pair to sign new deals that the gunners have now turned their focus to providing adequate replacements if the two eventually leave the Emirates Stadium.

According to the Sun, Arsenal are monitoring closely Lyon star Houssem Aouar who is seen as one of the best talents in the beautiful game with Catalan giants FC Barcelona alleged to also be keen.

The report suggests that Arsene Wenger has sent Arsenal agents to France to watch the starlet with a view to replacing Alexis Sanchez and Ozil if they leave the Emirates Emirates.

At only 19-years-old he has made himself as a versatile midfielder who can be deployed in central and wide positions.

The youngster has been featured twice for France’s Under 21 team and even netted against English Premier League side Everton during Lyon’s 3-0 win over Everton this campaign in the UEFA Europa League.
