Arsenal To Rival Man United For Algerian Super Star

North London club Arsenal have been surprisingly linked with a move for FC Porto star Yacine Brahimi according to popular news outlet Goal with a move during the January transfer window a distinct possibility however other clubs led by another English heavyweight Manchester United are also interested in the player.

As per the report clubs like Italian Serie A champions Juventus, London club West Ham United, French side AS Monaco and last season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) finalist Atletico Madrid are interested in the Algerian international, who has scored 16 goals in 68 appearances since he joined the former Portuguese champions in 2014, with 11 clubs represented by various scouts on hand to watch him during the last UEFA Champions League (UCL) group game between FC Porto and English champions, which the former won 5-0 at the Estadio Dragao in Portugal.

According to the report from goal, the Algerian star would soon get a big move away from his current side if he continues to churn out good performances in their blue and white colours with a €60m release clause on his present contract. He would undoubtedly be a key addition to the Arsenal if they manage to pull off the transfer though they have a fight on their hands to achieve that.
