Done Almost Agred! Arsenal’s £31million target closing in on transfer

Arsenal and Premier League rivals Manchester United could miss out on the winter transfer of Goncalo Guedes with latest reports emanating from France suggesting he’s very close to a £31million transfer to Valencia.

The Paris Saint Germain attacker has shone like million starts on loan at the Mestalla Stadium this campaign and L’Equipe now suggest a transfer fee has been agreed for the attacking midfielder to move to the La Liga on a permanent move.

Additional news from the Sun suggests United and the Gunners were also keen on Guedes, but now seem set to miss out on his services.

The Portuguese has long been seen as an exciting youngster, and finally looks to be living up to expectation after an impressive start to life in Spain.

His struggled for regular football in this star-studded Paris Saint Germain team, particularly after the arrivals of Brazilain Neymar and Frenchman Kylian Mbappe in the attack last summer.

Guedes, 21, could have made a good addition to teams like United and Arsenal, both of whom have their problems in attack right now.

Arsenal have both Chilean Alexis Sanchez and German Mesut Ozil approaching the conclusion of their deals, while Manchester United have been lacking in that position of the pitch recently in big games.
