Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been strongly linked with a move away from Lazio in recent times after emerging as a target for a handful of top clubs across Europe including premier league heavyweights Manchester United.
However, there are new reports that Paris Saint Germain are ready to splash huge cash to lure the player to Paris and will beat Man United for the player’s signature.
The French club are ready to make the Serbian midfielder the third most expensive player in history as they remain keen on adding more quality to their team, after paying huge cash to sign Neymar and Kylian Mbappe during the past summer transfer window.
Earlier this month, there were reports Man United are ready to get the youngster’s signature and that the red devils are in pole position to get him due to Mourinho’s relationship with agent Jorge Mendes – who also has close ties with Lazio.
However, according to new reports, Jorge is driving the player to France in a deal worth as much as £150M and will ignore Manchester United.
The likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus are also interested in the Serb, and reports say Lazio have asked Jorge to find out which club will pay the most for 22-year-old.
Sergej has evolved into one of the best midfielders in the world and has scored five goals this season so far at Lazio.
