According to reports, Jose Mourinho is ready to sell Luke Shaw in January and will be signing Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham before the closure of the winter window to replace Shaw.

Luke is being starved of opportunities this season at Old Trafford and has been able to play just five games this term, despite having his full fitness intact.

The English star has made just one appearance in the premier league, where he made proper use of the opportunity to earn a standing ovation from the crowd at Old Trafford.

But according to Guardian, the red devils are now set to allow Luke leave the club in January, and his next likely destination would be Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Southampton player has been linked with a move to Spurs to reunite with his former manager Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham, and the London club are expected to reignite their interest in him next month.

It was also added that Manchester United have made the decision to pay £25M for Ryan Sessegnon’s signature, and this will still happen even if Luke should remain at Old Trafford.

The 17-year-old was linked with Tottenham during the past summer transfer window, but Fulham rejected an offer from Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The talented teenager has been impressive in the Championship, and his superb performances at Fulham have caught the attention of some bigger clubs in Europe including Real Madrid.
