Arsenal given chance to secure the signature of this Petr Cech replacement

North London outfit Arsenal have been given the chance to secure the signature of German Under-21 goalkeeper and Dynamo Dresden stopper Markus Schubert in the coming summer transfer window.

Petr Cech has already announced his decision to leave the Emirates Stadium and would be waiting to play his last game for Arsenal team in the Europa League finals against Chelsea later in the week.

The legendary goalkeeper has been very impressive since he joined the Emirate Stadium from Chelsea and he is set to end his career at the club with a final game.

However, work has already begun to ensure that he is replaced so as to give a deserving competition to German goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Markus Schubert has been linked to the Emirates Stadium and the Gunners have been given the chance to land him.

It is now unclear, if Markus Schubert will come in as a first choice goalkeeper or will remain as a second choice just like the former Chelsea stopper.

Markus Schubert’s contract with his club ends at the end of the season which means he could be heading to the Emirates Stadium as a free player should Arsenal make a case for him.
