Arsenal Contract Rebel Ready To Hand In Transfer Request To Force Move Out

Unsettled Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is considering handing in a transfer request to Arsenal as the Chilean looks to force through his move to rivals Manchester City.

According to The Telegraph, Sanchez has set his heart on moving away from the Emirate club this summer and will try to push through Arsenal’s hand. The Chilean is keen to join his former manager at Barcelona Pep Guardiola at Premier League club Manchester City as he continues to stall on signing a new contract with the former Premier League Champions, although Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is convinced that Sanchez will remain with the club.

Earlier in the year, it was believed that Bundesliga giant Bayern Munich were leading the race to sign the unsettled Alexis Sanchez, however, failed to materialise as the German outfit were put off not only by the Gunner’s asking price but also The Player’s £400,000-weekly wage demands.

The Gunners are willing to agree on a deal which would see Arsenal’s leading scorer extend his contract by one year while increasing his salary to £300,000-weekly. The deal would effectively be a compromise between the two camps, who would then review the situation next summer when bids from interested clubs could be considered depending on how well the Gunner’s season has gone.
