Premer League duo of Arsenal and Chelsea are thinking about making a move for Ex Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, as per reports in the British press.
ESPN is claiming that both London clubs are watching out for the 27-year-old goalie with a view to making a winter transfer move for him.
The RB Leipzig goalkeeper played for Liverpool for five years but could not break into the first team at the Merseyside club – and he is currently drawing enthusiasm from some best clubs.
A similar report asserts that both Arsenal and Chelsea sent scouts to watch Gulacsi while playing for Leipzig in the 2-0 vanquish by Bayern Munich on Saturday.
North London giant Arsenal are thought to be seeking a successor to ageing Petr Cech, who is 35 and has a year and a half left on his present contract at The Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea, in the meantime, are evidently stressed that they could lose their goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to La Liga Champions Real Madrid.
Gulacsi is currently viewed as one of the best goalkeepers in Germany, and we have to wait to see whether Arsenal or the reigning Premier League Champions will table an official offer for the goalie in the New Year.
